Retaining original lock and key, plus the original calf binding leather writing surface. The interior is fitted with drawers and cubbies and has a sliding panel that reveals a storage well. The lower cabinet contains two shallow side by side drawers over two deep drawers, the lowest rank a unique arrangement of three sets of two over one ranks of alternating drawers between reeded stiles.
