"Pumpkin Island, 1894, A hard rain is a-gonna fall", shadow box diorama, artist signed on interior right wall and dated '10, with a painted anchor mark and "EX VOTO" to interior lower left corner; depicting a rocky island lighthouse with figures, sheets billowing on a clothesline, and a two-masted sailing ship just off shore, with suspended seabirds, a man and two sheep in a dinghy in the foreground, and a painted stormy sky and choppy sea; inside a blue painted box with glass cover, 14 3/8" high, 31 1/2" x 10 1/4". Good condition.
