1830's Woodblock Printed Image of the Deaf and Dumb Institution in New York City (located at 50th Street and Madison, based on an illustration in "Views of New York and its Environs" by Theodore S. Day in 1831, originally from a band box with early newspaper backing, now in a red painted wooden frame, OS: 13 1/4" x 19". Print is slightly bowed, with surface wear and losses.
