1st century A.D. A group of three bronze bow brooches comprising: one trumpet type with three bulbs at the apex of the bow; one similar with three vertical bands of enamel detailing to the upper bow, D-shaped headplate; one with loop above the headplate, high-relief ornament, remains of pin within trumpet. 70 grams total, 55-77 mm (2 1/8 - 3 in.). Acquired 1970s-1980s. Ex UK collection. Property of a Portsmouth, UK gentleman. One accompanied by old ticket. [3]
