Earl Swanigan (American, 1964-2019), 10/12/19, acrylic on thin plywood depicting a voluptuously anthropomorphized dog in a little red dress and red heels, titled verso, signed and dated l.c., 48" x 48" overall. Swanigan was a noted Outsider artist from Hudson, NY. This painting comes from the collection of a close friend and collector of Earl's who is featured in a documentary about Earl's work.

Perforations and losses to the board typical of Swanigan's work as he exclusively utilized salvaged supplies. Otherwise good.
