Oxbow four drawer chest, c. 1775, Massachusetts, maple and figured maple, pine secondary, oxbow conforming top with cove molded edge, case mounted bead surrounding graduated drawers, drawer front inside face conforming to oxbow fronts, Chippendale style brasses and escutcheons, base molding with large dovetail key typical of Massachusetts, straight bracket feet, case refinished, replaced brasses in original holes, feet and glue blocks all original, 33 ¼" h. x 36 3/8" w. x 20 ½" d.
