A gold ring with a small D-section hoop engraved with a hunting scene to the exterior composed of bounding hounds and antlered deer, the hoop interior with 'I wish your health' inscription and maker's mark 'M' within shield-shaped cartouche. Cf. The V&A Museum, accession number 906-1871, for a comparable ring. 1.17 grams, 14.05 mm overall, 12.52 mm internal diameter (1/2 in.). Acquired on the UK antiques market between 1974-1985.
