Description
Late Period, 664-332 B.C. A green-glazed faience amulet in the form of the ibis-headed god Thoth, shown striding forwards on a rectangular base with his hands held to his sides, wearing the shendyt kilt, wedge-shaped pillar to reverse, pierced for suspension; mounted on an old perspex stand. 8.79 grams total, 45 mm high including stand (1 3/4 in.).
