Baird clock is circa 1890's to 1915, and the Pepsi Dial Advertising is circa 1920's.; Originality ; The Movement is mounted with 4 screws on the backboard, and marked made for "Edw. P. Baird Clock Co." with the rare Calendar Date Gear. The rare "Pepsi Dial" has the Calendar Date Numbers, and there are Only 3 Holes in the Dial's Bezel which matches perfectly the Only 3 Holes in the Clock case ! Evidently "Not a Marriage" of parts. (However, not approved for mass production); Rare Baird "Saranac" Model Wall Clock introduced in 1892 when NY manufacturing opened. This Model was first designed for Domestic Home Use , but later adapted as a Pepsi-Cola Advertising Clock. Very Clean "Baird Clock Co. * Plattsburgh, NY. USA." marked 8 Day Brass Movement, with Original Factory Paper Label still inside the Case. Case frame was a Reddish Mahogany, but shows signs of Sun-Bleaching in the "Bow Tie Area" which turned brown, as seen in the 4th photo. Has Decorative Embossed Round Front Doors, Void of the usual Advertisements on the Round Wood Door Frames.
Cases with the later Flat Bottoms, were introduced in Plattsburgh in 1890.
Original Brass Clips hold the Door Glasses in place.; Original Brass Movement is marked "Manufactured by Seth Thomas Clock Co. FOR the Edw. P. Baird & Co. NY. & Montreal"
