Possible attributions made by "Bakewell Glass" of Pittsburgh,Pa. or "New England Glass" of Boston. Circa 1860's.; Undamaged Decanter with normal polished Pontil Scar on bottom, with nice frosty round Wear-pattern.
Has exactly what you would expect for Blown Glass, such as small trapped & stretched air bubbles, slight glass swirl, specks, and slight surface scratches around the central bulge. Has a perfect fitting "Mushroom" polished stopper. early Pressed Glass Stoppers has only 1 point flaked off.; Condition: Very Fine with No cracks or Repairs.; Measurements : Overall Stands 9 1/2 inches High from base to top of stopper, and 8 1/2 inches High without stopper.
