In this lot of 3 small oil painted landscapes, two are signed, one is not. The first is an oil painting on board of a small cabin in the woods, signed lower right "W Thol". This appears to be attributed to Hendrik Otto Van Thol. There is a description of him affixed to the back. Both the painting and the frame are in excellent condition. The painting measures 4 5/8" x 8 3/4". Frame measures 7 3/16" x 11 5/8". The second work matches the style of the first, an oil painting on board. It is unsigned. On the back in pencil is written "I Israels" which may be a reference to the painter Isaac Israels. The Painting and the frame are in excellent condition. The Painting measures 4 3/4" x 12". The Whitewash and gilt frame measures 7 3/4" x 15 1/8". The Third work is an oil painting on board, and depicts trees alongside a creek. It is Signed lower right, "B. Keus".
