Item Details

Description

A pair of Continental Baroque style limestone models of recumbent heraldic lions
19th century or earlier
height 24 1/2in (63cm); width 33in (84cm); depth 20in (51cm)

Condition

One head and tail with heavy restoration and some recarving of features. The other with restoration to shield and lower part of mane. General marks, nicks, scratches, rubbing, weathering and dirt accumulation. Losses overall.
