Potter (Beatrix) The Tailor of Gloucester, first trade edition, first printing with date on title and singe-page endpaper recurring four times, colour frontispiece and 26 colour plates, ink ownership inscription to front free endpaper, upper hinge split at base, small chip to spine foot, 1903; The Tale of Squirrel Nutkin, first edition, third printing with "Author of the Tale of Peter Rabbit" on title, colour frontispiece, plain title vignette and 26 colour plates, frontispiece removed and placed before half-title, short closed tear to fore-edge of front free endpaper, 1903, some light finger-soiling, upper hinge repaired, original boards with mounted colour illustration, rebacked, with original spine laid-down (small loss to head and foot), lightly rubbed, a few spots of light staining, [Linder p.423; Quinby 4 & 5]; and others by Potter, including another first edition Tailor of Gloucester and a presentation box of Potter's works (33)
