Elie Hazak

Number 9 from and edition of 30 depicting a Native American man with a buffalo headdress on horse back raising a spear above his head while a dog stands at attention by the horse's hooves. Hazak studied at the Bel Zallel Art School and later travelled to Israel and Europe as an actor and performer. In 1999 Hazak was commissioned by Championship Auto Racing Teams to create the Mario Andretti Trophy.
Bronze,Approx. 26 1/8" t x 15 1/2" w x 12" d.
Signed, dated, and numbered "Elie Hazak '79 9/30" on base.
From the collection of a North Scituate, Rhode Island estate.
