Biography: Over 40 years of unending brilliance in the areas of sport, art and leisure have taken LeRoy Neiman to the pinnacle of artistic fame. His primary training in the field was at the re-known Chicago Art Institute Working commercially, he met a young ad man starting a new and revolutionary "art" publication that was to have a profound effect on his professional life. The man was Hugh Hefner; the publication, Playboy magazine.
For four decades LeRoy has graced those pages with his spot and leisure panels. LeRoy works in a patented impressionistic style that gives life to action and movement. His panels explode with brilliant color and ambient energy. He is, perhaps, the most easily recognizable artist alive today.
