Important Atlanta Georgia Signed JB IV/18 1915 Pitcher strong attribution to James (Otto) Brown 1866-1929. This overfired slip glaze signed & decorated pitcher is a must for any southern stoneware collector. This example is very scarce and is the first one we at Cagle have seen or offered. The pitcher is script signed JB IV/18 1915, this pitcher has the correct handle and glaze and form for the Brown family. More than likely this is the last piece that he made and was a prized piece for he and his family and why it is in such great condition (mint). The pitcher is fresh to the market and is in mint condition with no repairs. Standing 6 1/2" Tall
