late 19th century, the "S"-curve tambour roll opening to a fully fitted interior, the base with a pull-out writing slide on each bank, the drawers with carved pulls and the case with raised chamfered panels throughout, the cast brass key plate bearing the name "Geo. W. Cobb Jr. 144-148 Nassau St. N.Y.".
