Late 18th century Continental silver scalloped charger plate re-worked in the late 19th century into a Victorian vermeil gold-wash presentation plate having finely detailed repousse decoration with four birds and floral festoons, inscribed "To Mr. and Mrs. Horatio Allen On Their Golden Wedding November 27th 1834-1884 from H.P. & M.L.P."
