Two Antique Spanish Colonial Retablos
19th century; the first inscribed "Na. Sd. del Patrocinio de Tarata en 1864," Bolivian, oil on tin, framed (Frame dimensions 11 1/2 x 10 in.); the second depicting "El Niño de Atocha," Mexican, oil on tin, framed (Frame dimensions 15 3/4 x 13 in.).
The Holy Child of Atocha is depicted as a pilgrim and serves as the patron saint for travelers.
