Description
Pair of German World War I Iron Crosses and other insignia. The first example is in good condition, unmarked, in about average condition and still exhibiting good detail. The second example is on a parade mount. It bears substantial damage to the ribbed beading about the black painted section, having been crushed and in a few places, it is pulling away from the body of the medal. Also present is a chest ribbon with ribbon for the Iron Cross and the Hindenburg Cross with Swords. Finally, there is a Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Medal, also known as the Centenary Medal. It was established on March 22, 1897 by Wilhelm II on the occasion of the 100th birthday of his grandfather, Emperor Wilhelm I. Four pieces.
