Inner dimensions are 12” x 10”. 2) Newcomb-Macklin gilt wood frame. The Newcomb-Macklin Company Framers, New York, New York. NOTE: The Newcomb-Macklin Company originated in Chicago, IL and was in business from 1883 until 1979. The Newcomb-Macklin frames such as this designed in the early 20th century reflected the aesthetics of the Arts & Crafts Movement between 1900 and 1925. This is a quality example with typical molded decoration from that period. An original black Newcomb-Macklin label with their New York address is still present on the back of the frame.
