19th century, France. The brass telescope with 36” barrel is equipped with an adjustable brass mounting bracket and a wheel driven sight adjustment. It is offered with original walnut storage case and also with an adjustable oak tripod stand. The lens frame is engraved with the maker’s name and additionally impressed with the trademark logo. SIZE: 37” l. Tripod is 51” h (closed). Condition: CONDITION: Generally good. Walnut case in need of restoration, otherwise good.
