Description
Early 19th century, Mid-Atlantic region. The table with a bank of three drawers; each with Bird's eye maple drawer fronts with applied mahogany borders raised on square tapering legs with contrasting line inlay beneath the case. The top drawer with compartments fitted with a small tray and a walnut cover on the largest compartment. The top is veneered in mahogany and the back of the case and drawer sides are walnut, while the case itself is yellow pine. An old label is affixed to the inner drawer side reading "Go to the Revere House. Harrisonburg, VA". (The Revere House Hotel was a two-story Victorian hotel in downtown Harrisonburg.) SIZE: 29-1/2" h x 19" w x 17" d. Condition: CONDITION: Very good.
