Biography from Kunst& Auktionshaus Eva Aldag Paul Ludwig Kowalczewski was born in Mieltschin (Kr Gniezno.) on August 25, 1865 and died on September 5, 1910 in Berlin. He was a Polish sculptor and the brother of Karl K. War. From 1895-98, he was a student of the Berlin Academy. From 1899-1906 he exhibited at the Berlin Great art exhibition with small bronzes (including pilot head; Germane; work tired; Archer) and busts (Napoleon I. (life-size); pianist J.
