An antique 19th century folio of hand coloured lithographs with European landscape scenes. The book has a half maroon leather binding with gilt title to the upper board and to the spine. Feature a personal Ex Libris and a handwritten inscription: Mrs. E.D. Cochran, Natchey, Oct. 15, 1837. Published in London by Charles Tilt, 1837. James Duffield Harding, 1798 to 1863, was a British landscape painter, lithographer and author of drawing manuals. His use of tinted papers and opaque paints in watercolor proved influential.
