An early western hand carved wooden folk art tobacco cigar store Native American "Indian chief" display statue. Modeled wearing a grizzly bear headdress, and holding a peace pipe and peace treaty document. Mounted on a square, box-form base stand.
Dimensions: 72 X 16 X 14 in.
Condition: Poor very fragile and brittle condition, having heavy surface wear, losses to both feet and elsewhere, previous restorations, heavy older insect damage, and natural splits throughout. Being sold in as-is, as described condition, please bid accordingly. Estate fresh to the market.
