SILVER HUMIDOR AND OTHER SERVICE FOR THE YACHT "NIRVANA IV"
Circa 1922-29
Silver humidor by William B. Kerr & Co., Newark, New Jersey. Etched with flowers, birds and scrolls within bellflower borders, the cover engraved "Yacht Nirvana Holger Struckmann From Frederick C. Fletcher" and applied with two enameled burgees. Two-compartment interior fitted with a removable wood tray and a humidor fitting. Also includes six silver napkin rings by Evald Nielsen, Copenhagen, engraved "Nirvana III", and ten glasses enameled with the same burgees and "Nirvana" on a ribbon.
Humidor height 6". Width 12". Depth 6".

Holger Struckmann, and thence by descent through his family.

Holger Struckmann was president of International Cement Co. and lived in Rye, New York. He was a member of the Larchmont Yacht Club in Larchmont, New York.
