Inverted bell- form loving cup, the two scrolled handles cast with flowers and the lower body and foot chased with gadroons and leaf sprays. Notes:
Columbia was the only yacht in the history of the America's Cup to defend it on two occasions -- in 1899, beating Shamrock, and 1901, beating Shamrock II. This trophy was awarded just one month before the 1901 America's Cup.

Columbia, launched in 1899, was a 131-foot keel sloop designed by Nathanael Hereshoff and owned by a syndicate headed by J.P. Morgan, E.D. Morgan and C. Oliver Iselin.
