Signed lower right. Sunny, pointillist view of two women strolling as a gentleman fishes in a pond, a little girl in a pink dress beyond. Unframed, the reverse with retailer's stamp.
About the artist: Lucien Neuquelman (French, 1909-1988), was a pointillist artist best known for his vibrant landscapes. Neuquelman began studying at the Art School of Toulon and proceeded to meet Othon Friez of whom he became a pupil. In 1930, he traveled to Paris where he both worked and studied.
