Five soldiers in 16th century dress around a wooden table on which dice are thrown, gesturing and shouting angrily, one to left reaching for his sword, one to right leaning forward with one knee on his stool; after Valentini; lettered state. 1769Inscription: Lettered below the image with the title, continuing "From the original Picture of the same Size, painted by Valentini, in the Collection of Sr. James Lowther, Bart.", and "J.
