Description
Crawford's "Flying Scotsman" tin, c. 1928, in the form of a railway locomotive. The Flying Scotsman was an LNER Pacific steam locomotive built in 1924 for the London Northeastern Railway Company, designed by Nigel Gresley, operating between London and Edinburgh, a very important train. The green tin is very attractive with four wheels on two axles. One side has little bits of old rust and some old scuffs, the other side with many horizontal scratches, the rear with some minor silver scratches. The front opens. It would improve with a cleaning and restoration. Condition: (Fair - Good). Dimensions: 16" x 4" x 2 - 1/4".
