A niello work silver cigar box, A niello work silver cigar box, early 20th century, likely of Persian manufacture, of rectangular form, the lid richly decorated with stylised patterns, to the centre with a blank medallion, internally lined with burl walnut, raised on a stepped base, 21.5cm wide, 13.5cm deep Condition Report: No hallmarks, tested as silver. The hinge does not close completely. Internally with scuffs to the veneer. With general scratches, marks and minor dents to the exterior. Some tarnish to the recesses.
