Lord Thomas Babington Macaulay History of England Volumes 1 - 5. Volume I is a third edition, 1849 and contains a letter written by Macaulay to an unknown person thanking him for his translation of a German book. Written from Albany, London on April 24, 1852. Volume II is also from 1849 and is a second edition. Volume III and IV are 1855, and Volume V is 1861 and edited by his sister, Lady Trevelyan. All are bound in the same brown leather with red and black on the spine and gold lettering. Has normal wear to the corners and spine on all, but the pages inside are very clean. All invoices must be paid within 24 hours of the sale. All items are shipped USPS or UPS and will be billed separately. A $12 handling fee is added to the shipping price per lot if shipped in house. Some items or large quantity of purchases will be packed and shipped via the UPS store. Local pickups are at our South Brunswick location on Friday, Saturday and Monday ONLY!
