Description
An mid-century oak chest with a hinged lid by H. Gerstner & Sons, Dayton, Ohio. This lot is a model 41C that was first introduced in 1918. The piece has a handle attached to the lid. The chest can be closed with a key lock, a padlock, and two snaps. The box originally had seven compartments, the upper drawer has a small mirror on the cover. The inside is lined with green felt.
