Description
Paul Blair’s game-used personalized Louisville Slugger 125 (Hillerich & Bradsby) baseball bat, used by Blair as a member of the Baltimore Orioles, dating to the 1969 and 1972 seasons, signed on the barrel in black felt tip by Blair. In very good to fine condition, with obvious expected signs of use, such as ball and cleat marks, and stitch impressions.
Accompanied by a full letter of authenticity from PSA/DNA, which concludes that “the bat is authentic and was game used by Blair during the referenced labeling period.” Better known for his glove than his bat, Blair excelled in his role as a center fielder, winning the Gold Glove Award eight times, including seven consecutive years from 1969 to 1975. His defensive abilities helped the Baltimore Orioles win four American League pennants and two World Series championships between 1966 and 1971.
