great condition; stable and sturdy; nice overall surface, with some dark old stains and occasional scratches commensurate with age and use; the roll top glides easily on the track; inset leather to interior with expected wear commensurate with age and use, some minor losses and some minor tearing near hinges of pull-up writing stand; the writing stand with detached / loose hinge at right-facing side, likely in need of screw stabilization (currently missing screws); some repairs to exterior drawer face veneers; minor scuffing / scrapes to legs; replaced wood panel to underside of desk; retains accession number
