stable and sturdy; overall in great condition, the top surfaces retaining the majority of the painted decoration and having cracquelure expected with age and use, some occasional cracks retouched with paint; the legs and stretchers / finials with refreshing to gilding; legs, stretchers, finials, aprons, and some edges with occasional losses to gesso and gilding commensurate with age, but does not detract from visual appeal; some minor areas of worm holes to backs and undersides; retaining old accession numbers and labels
