French faience pottery, including a lidded jug / pitcher having a top handle and decorated with fleur des lis marked with conjoined initials "CA" (h. 9 in.), an HB Quimper two-section dish with twin dolphin handle (w. 13 in.), a rectangular plate, open vegetable bowl, a Henriot Quimper teapot [missing lid], a child's cup, and a miniature basket and ewer
Provenance: From the estate of the late Joan E. Black, Bronxville, NY; Mrs. Black was a friend of Sandra V. Bondhus, author of "Quimper Pottery: French Folk Art Faience," and often purchased items from auctions that Ms. Bondhus cataloged.
