Beggar man and beggar woman conversing
Etching, circa 1630, a good impression of New Hollstein's second state (of three), printing with plate tone and showing the scratch between the couple, faint burr on the contour of the woman's back, on laid paper without watermark, platemark 78 x 66 mm (3 1/16 x 2 5/8 in), sheet 82 x 70 mm (3 1/4 x 11 1/16 in), small margins rounded in each corner but not effecting the plate margins (unframed)
