Description
Comprising a famille rose teapot and cover, painted on either side with a peafowl perched in a rock garden within a dense floral border, each piece surrounded by a gilt-edged paneled trellis diaper border centering peacocks; a Continental armorial cream pitcher; a hot milk jug and handleless cup, each painted in sepia with a group of buildings before sampans in an inlet; and a small teapot, nineteenth century, painted on either side with groups of flower vases on tables. Height of teapot 5.125 inches. Provenance: First teapot, Bulwer Collection, #12 paper label.
