⁂ A trio of excellent association copies, all with warm and personal inscriptions to the theatre and film producer Oscar Lewenstein (1917-1997).

Osborne and Lewenstein's most sustained period of collaboration was during the 1960s when Lewenstein helped produce the film adaptation of Osborne's play The Entertainer before becoming director of Woodfall Productions, the film company that Osborne had helped set up. Lewenstein left this role in 1967 which is alluded to in Osborne's inscription in the second mentioned.
