Hobbes (Thomas) Leviathan, second edition, additional engraved allegorical title, with ink ownership inscriptions, printed title with woodcut device of bear and foliage, folding table, 2H3 small tear in blank margin, 2Y2-3 browned, some light marginal browning otherwise, occasional mainly light scattered spotting, contemporary calf, joints cracked but firm, calf chipped along joints, rubbed, [Wing H2247; c.f. Pforzheimer 491; c.f. PMM 138], folio, for Andrew Crooke [i.e. John Redmayne and Christoffel Cunradus], 1651 [i.e. 1678].
