A pair of four-sided column Nakashima style floor lamps for Lightolier, circa 1960s, are in very good condition with some browning on panels. The rectilinear box frame of solid walnut has an inset grid of birch overlaid on shoji paper panels which conceal a stand of four Edison-style sockets. Each side measures approximately 8 inches wide and contains 15 sections measuring 1.75 by 11 inches. Inside each of the sides is Shoji paper. There are no tears or perforations noted but one lamp has one panel with what appears to be a dirt mark, possibly grease, and another with a browning on the Shoji paper, from what would appear to be from the heat of a bulb. There are no cracks or breakage in the frames. The iron base is intact and without issue. The chrome junction plate cover is on both bases secured by flat head screws. The top two turn switch appears to be original and in proper working order as does the rest of the lamp. No noted issues with the wiring.
