A C.1900 Louis XV style rosewood and tulipwood veneered bureau plat by Mercier Frères, This exceptional quality desk having a leather top with a gilt surround above three short drawers with gilt bronze handles and applied mouldings above four cabriole legs, the top having slides extending from either side for additional desk space. Bearing 'Mercier Frères' label to inside of drawer. 55" wide x 29" deep x 30" high.
