Description
A pair of late 19thC Meissen three branch figural and floral candelabras, one depicting the Greek philosopher Diogenes holding a lantern, the other modelled as a seated Alchemist with a sack of coins. Each with floral encrusted branches surmounted by sconces. Both with blue crossed sword marks under, Diogenes incised 945 and impressed 107, the alchemist incised 986 and impressed 147. Approx. 11 3/4" high (2)
