During the approximately 6 decades of working for the JB Cole shop, Waymon Cole (b1906-d1987), the famed art potter, almost exclusively (and very infrequently) only signed his pots the last decade in which he lived/worked. For a relatively smaller pot (because Waymon also turned larger examples of this form), this has one of Waymon's signature pots. Dates likely to the 1970's. There is a rare green glaze & dimensions 4"x9".
