Description
Two items made in Cliousclat, Provence. Including a large recipient for snails with handles in a circular form, called 'oreilles', 18th C. Cliousclat, Provence. The rarest vire-omelet is the conclusion of experts in Provence. The oil fell to the indented center and was discarded. Then, the vire-omelet was used to flip the omelette. This poterie is two-tone. One side is glazed in green and the other, pale yellow. Dimensions: (Larger) H 9.75" x Dia. 7.75" Condition: Glaze losses, chips, crazing. Hairline emanating from rim of vessel, visible to interior.

All the items in this auction remain at our Gallery in Norwalk, CT for pickup or shipping. Items must be picked up in the time frame of Wednesday, June 29th - Friday, July 8th, WEEKDAYS ONLY, 9-5.
