Chinese Qing Dynasty YongZheng Douqing Porcelain Brush Washer Pot On Carved Hardwood Stand. This porcelain has an open mouth with a slightly out-turned lip, small, short neck, bulging belly on the mid, raised on ring foot base with slight concave. The body of the washer pot is entirely covered in simple and pure Douqing glaze The Douqing hand painting, all reserved in pale green celadon under glazed ground, the green glaze creates a mottled effect around the rim which is likened unto the blushing of human pale white skin. Masterfully covered in an even coat of a pale green glaze which terminates at the base to reveal the pure white under glaze. The deep green glaze creates a mottled effect around the rim which is likened unto the blushing of human skin. The foot rim reveals the cut edges during the making process, and the receded central interior base left white underglaze.The immaculate porcelain body covered with a characteristic silky glaze, amazing crackling effect throughout the under glaze which produces fantastic a smooth textured surface.The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark, enclosed within double fine blue rings lines. Made in The Years YongZheng Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
