This necklace and matching earrings are bold statement pieces comprised of an assortment of antique and vintage beads of glass, silver, nickel-brass, and stone. The necklace is strung with 4 biconical 96.9% to 97.5% silver beads, likely originating from Mali, 2 ribbed aqua green glass trade beads also from Mali, and barrel shaped blue howlite beads. Towards the sterling silver hook clasp are red disc shaped Afghani beads etched with Dhikr script etched into the center. Modern spacer beads of nickel-brass, glass, and green magnesite are dispersed along the length to balance the piece. The earrings are large glass trade beads capped by nickel-brass spacer beads and red glass seed beads, all on a modern sterling silver ear hook. Beads are an assortment of antique and vintage that are all strung in modern times with modern sterling silver components and nickel-brass spacer beads, and all pieces are wearable. Minor nicks and surface wear to all beads from prior use, all are intact and very good.
