A LOUIS XIV EBONISED, TORTOISESHELL AND 'BOULLE' MARQUETRY 'RELIGIEUSE' BRACKET CLOCK
By Balthazar Martinat, Paris, early 18th century and later
The twin train movement with later conversion to anchor escapement striking the hours on a bell mounted in the caddy above a numbered countwheel, a white enamel roundel to the front inscribed 'Balthazar Martinat, Paris', the backplate signed 'Crolet A Paris', the hood and some elements of the case possibly later, 32.5cm wide, 57cm high, 14cm deep (12.5in wide, 22in high, 5.5in deep)

Overall in good condition.
